Welcome to my nightmare
of masquerades and shades of grey.
I'm paralysed by all the fear inside my head.
Is this how it's supposed to end?
with white light rushing in.

Just strap this ball and chain around my neck and choke me.
And i'll try to scream for help but the words Just fade and whisper.
And you can hear my every thought and how it haunts me.
But i'll fight with every ounce of strength that i have left.

And if i dream tonight.
will I die too?
And if i fall asleep.
will i fade away?

It's just a dream.
when everything you second guess.
It's not my time to die
I will not leave tonight.
Just like the stories that they told.
And these demons want me now.
